An exquisite set of unframed prints in gorgeous gold, ivory, fawn brown and black hues known as the Loreto Embroidery series. These restored prints are taken from from needlework masterpieces brought by a nun to a convent in Surrey, England for safekeeping during WWII.

Each print in the series represents one of the over 50 titles of Mary from the Litany of Loreto, in Art Nouveau style, originally drawn by Ezio Anichin, who released 46 drawings in 1912. 

The Litany of Loreto dates back to the Middle Ages, and these images are a restored version of the artist's drawings based on photographs of the embroidered pieces, which now reside in the  Royal School of Needlework for historical preservation.
